At Frohring Meadows this morning, I saw a lone vesper sparrow. It was in a little shrub when I first saw it, and then, more often trying to peck along the edges of the paths, in the lawn. But it was really busy with dog walkers, and he was constantly moved along. Also a dozen snipe, and lots of tree swallows and bluebirds and house sparrows sorting out claims to the various bird houses.
