Found a few birds this morning despite the cold drizzle. I cut the walk short when it was threatening to rain more steadily.
I heard and saw Yellow and N Parula Warblers, which are FOS for the reserve. I also heard and saw Louisiana Waterthrush along a stream. I had a couple catbirds and was delighted to see at least one, possibly two, Winter Wrens before they dove behind a dead log and vanished.
I heard a song fragment of a distant vireo, likely Blue-headed, but didn’t “count” it. White-eyed Vireos were vocal.
