I heard a few woodcocks at the Granville Land Lab tonight. They weren’t as close as they were last year but I’ll be checking on them again. Heard their flight calls but too dark to see them.

At least one killdeer was also there and I had another calling as it flew over the bike path near my house yesterday. 

Maybe spring on its way??
