Location: Hayes Rd, north of Route 87, south of Nauvoo Rd, Middlefield, Geauga County, Rachel McKinney and I watched a short-eared owl making its appearance right at dusk - a beautiful sight - it flew back and forth across the field and then was too dark to continue to see it (also, we were freezing) - also a perched rough-legged hawk. Nice sunset, nice crescent moon, two lovely birds.

Happy upcoming Winter Solstice everyone.
