The adult male baltimore oriole made a brief return to the feeders today. Again, he stopped by around 845AM, perching briefly on a sunflower seed hopper, before taking off. Connie cut up an orange and put it out since the oriole and hummer feeders are already in storage. While we get regular visits from baltimore and orchard orioles during the summer, this has been unique in an otherwise slow season at the feeders.
