After a rather quiet walk at Blendon Woods, I came home to find a beautiful male Red-breasted Grosbeak at my tray feeder. Always a delight to see.
On my short walk at Blendon Woods, I had flyovers of a pair of Cooper’s Hawks mixing it up a bit. Then, I saw another pair of hawks and thought it was the Cooper’s again but instead, it was 2 Broad-wingeds. FOS for me.
Tom Turkeys were displaying on the main road as well as at the Thoreau pond feeders. Pair of Blue-winged Teal, drake Wood Duck & a line of mallard ducklings.
O/w, it was v quiet. Only warbler was heard Yellow-rumped. Some RC Kinglets flashing their ruby crowns. Field Sparrows singing.
