This morning and again around noon I saw two female Common Mergansers in Tinkers Creek in Bedford Reservation. This is in Cuyahoga County. I saw the ducks in the creek near the Dunham Road entrance (near Astrohurst Golf Course). 


I have seen these ducks in this area in past winters. I was thinking it might be a good time to check the Cuyahoga River in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park for other diving ducks. The weather man said Lake Erie is still 75% frozen this morning.
