I couldn't just stay at home and edit pics from my vacation. It was 80 degrees
Out! I thought perfect for a peeent or two. No…. Ellis wetlands is still looking
Good for shorebirds. And ducks. Only hardly any ducks. And just Killdeer.
I did have a Chipping Sparrow. Seems early.

I decided on that new bike path from Ellis to Gilmore for a dusk watch and listen.
Looks good - a paved trail next to wet woods. Only no peeent. I may have to sign up
For a Fernald woodcock walk! And sneak into Butler county….. I am joking.

March will be night birding. And waterfowl. I hope to get to Hueston Woods
This Sat.

Good birding all.
