A cattle egret was resting at Frohring Meadows late this afternoon. I first saw it in the wetland area, but over
the next couple of hours it moved from the wetlands to the meadows and back again. (It is such a small area,
that if it is there, you'd be hard pressed to overlook it.)
Bobolinks were every where. Few shorebirds... just a couple of yellowlegs,
and a few killdeer. No Snipe? A bird that I expect to see every time I walk around the wetland.
Heard one or two soras.
