Two of us were out yesterday from 10am-4pm. We started at the Funk Bottoms
area along Hwy 95 and on the west side of Wilderness Rd. We then went to
the Killbuck Marsh wildlife area, along Cemetery Rd, Force Rd (west end)
and Messner Rd (west end). Following are the waterfowl seen and approximate
numbers in the Funk areas (F) and Killbuck areas (K).

Horned grebe F5, K2
Canada goose - did not count
Mallard K20
Gadwall K10
Pintail F12, K20
Green-winged teal F2, K1
Am. wigeon F5, K10
Shoveler F12, K10
Redhead F20, K1
Ring-necked duck F50, K1000+
Ruddy duck K12
Canvasback F5
Lesser scaup F12, K250
Com. goldeneye K10
Bufflehead F10, K5
Red-breasted merganser K1
Hooded merganser K10
