Are the Dark-Eyed Junco and the Slate-Colored Junco the same bird? I’ve looked in two sources and can’t find a difference.
(Still have them in my yard.)

I delete most emails from this list with out reading them because they are not relevant to my area. I am really astounded that some one would even suggest to stop a bird report on a birding list like Ohio Birds. Bring them on!

>> One exciting update to report on our research. On February 20-21, 2019, we got photos of a bird we banded as a fledgling on September 11, 2018. This date is within our range for winter residency and is our first evidence of a non breeding adult male wintering over.
