Our resident Baltimore oriole remains a daily visitor to our birdfeeders. Despite high temps in single digits, heavy winds and snow, this bird is hanging tough, munching peanuts and suet. We also had a first ever winter visit (for us) of a yellow bellied sapsucker. This is a juvenile that's been at the suet for the last day or two. We usually see this species very occasionally in spring time. Our regular feeder birds present include downy, hairy, and RBWP. Also, cardinals, blue jays, juncos, tree sp, house sp, song sp, gold finch, house finch, purple finch, WBNH, titmouse, starling, and chickadee.
