Yesterday afternoon I happened to be outside during the ice storm here, I heard gulls overhead and there was 50-75 or more in a flock flying kind of low and calling out. I think they were ring-billed but conditions were pretty bad so I'm going by the sound they made. I am 10 miles west of Steubenville and the Ohio river. I'm guessing they were disorientated in the storm since gulls don't come through here very often at least not in those numbers.
