I am reporting a call I had earlier from Jeff Harvey. He and Craig Holt were at the Conneaut Sandspit in Ashtabula County, watching the assumed to be the same, previously reported Black-headed Gull. It has been present since at least 8AM. Some of the other birds of interest presently there are: the 2 American Avocets, some Dunlins, and a White-rumped Sandpiper. It is now 10:20AM and I am told the Black-headed Gull is taking a nap.
