New stuff in! And I know I miss stuff with my older hearing…..
Did have a close Blue-winged Warbler! Nice to hear! And see!
Where’s that close Prairie??
Blackpolls, Redstart, Parula, Orange crowned was nice. That’s
Usually a fall bird for me. Only one Prothonotary. I was thinking
A lot were migrants that I had last time.
2 Lincoln’s sparrows. Nice! Blue headed Vireo. Etc. Mary C.
Joined me for a bit. We are strategically planning our route.
Which I keep changing…..
Predawn - somewhere safe to park near Shawnee lookout.
Go back quick afterwards to lost bridge. A quick scan.
Then Shawnee probably from 7 til 10:30 or so. Then hit spots
Heading back east. For missing species. After a quick check of
Lost bridge again. I will check ebird also a couple days before big
Day. Any lingering species. Etc. head up to Fernald by 4:00pm??
No second night birding. I never have the energy for that anymore!
Good birding all. I am off to Rowe woods soon and butterflies.
