I thought there would be more bird activity this morning but I still got some good birds incl my FOS Ruby-crowned Kinglet at the Reserve—it was even singing!

Also got 4 vireos incl a lovely Blue-headed. Also Red-eyed, warbling and white-eyed.

Brown Thrasher
E Peewee
Swainson’s Thrush
Wood Thrush—heard only
Kingfishers—2 having some kind of territorial argument

Warblers
TN
Magnolia
Redstart
Chestnut-sided
Com YT

I then headed to the Hoover Res area. Wiese rd was v quiet but I picked up Cedar Waxwings, juv Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks.

E Peewees at Galena & Magnolia Warbler.

Oxbow was more productive. Great Egrets, Great Blue & Green Herons.

Saw a Red-shouldered Hawk carrying prey.

Ran into a small flock of warblers there:
Blackburnian
N Parula
Wilson’s
Magnolia
Redstart
Blackpoll
Com YT

A late afternoon walk at Denison was v quiet. Added Olive-sided FC.
