The first parking lot at the unsigned preserve was full when I arrived near 12:30. As far as I know, no one saw the bird by the time I left around 3. Last sighting around 10:30 AM according to some birders alr there.
Area was well covered with some birders scanning by road while others walked the trails. Big area.
A small flock of bluebirds was over by the horse pastures along w/many Am GFs but alas, not a Kingbird to be found amongst them. I had an E Phoebe in the same area as well as a couple Ruby-crowned Kinglets.
A couple Chimney Swifts with small groups of Tree Swallows. One Kestrel.
A low-flying imm Bald Eagle closed out my dip trip as I couldn’t stay.
Pls post to the list or to me offlist if the bird is relocated this weekend. I won’t be able to chase again until Monday. Thx
