Went to the great miami river - lost bridge - to see if the Semipalm Plover
and Marbled Godwits were still around. No. At least with the Godwits.
The Plover could have been on an out of the way dirt field or something.
Had Caspian Terns. Very nice looks at them feeding and roosting.
Was on the Audubon Society of Ohio walk at Spring Grove this morning.
Very nice! YR Warblers. And a Yellow-throated - that last breeds there?
Denis Conover leader.
I am impatiently waiting on spring migrants here! Curious as to where the
best spots will be. This whole cin. area where I live - Oakley - has many parks.
Lots of places for our feathered friends. And my wooded backyard. Today
while gardening, 2 Rough winged swallows. Not high overhead, they were
on a wire out front! They took off quick - heading toward Armleder! Which
isnt far as the bird flies.
Good birding all.
