A mid morning start as I had an early errand to make. With the cool temps,
I figured birds would still be active. Most stuff was down low, in the shrubs.
Insects maybe not active and flying?? Anyway, a nice mix of fall species.
I was on the Connector trail. Highlights -
1 Least Flycatcher
1 Blue headed Vireo
1 Gnatcatcher
2 Swainsons Thrush
1 Prothonotary - I would have preferred a Canada or Connecticut! But maybe
a Sept. bird. I’ll check my chart tonight. I also heard a Golden winged around.
Sigh…..
7 Tennessee
1 Nashville
5 common yellowthroat
2 Parula
1 Magnolia
1 Bay breasted
1 Blackburnian
1 black throated green
1 Black throated Blue
1 Rose breasted Grosbeak
Good birding all.
