Scioto R below the Greenlawn Ave dam

Mallards and Hooded Mergansers as usual. Scattered, but well into the
double digits.
Common Goldeneye - 6 (3M & 3F) At first in a group below the dam a way.
They flushed & later I saw 1 pair below the old RR abutments, and 1 pair
+ a female in the spillway below the dam.
3 Bufflehead (F)

Black ducks were mostly by the sewage disposal area. Beyond this the
river was frozen over solid
Several Pied-billed Grebes in this area also.
Canvasback - male - same place
Numerous C. Geese came in during the late afternoon after none being
present when I first started about 2:30
A few Herring gulls with the Ring-billeds along the dam and in the
spillway below.
G.B.Herons - At least 10 or so along this stretch.

Not much seen along the path except for a pair of Carolina wrens.
