Short jaunt yielded a few cool things. 

Had 2 E Phoebes, one calling. One catbird. No Warblers. 

Watched a sharpie mix it up with a Cooper’s which was pretty cool. Another Cooper’s arrived after the sharpie departed. 

A Red-shouldered Hawk was perched and several Black Vultures roosting near the main trail. I’m used to seeing them roosting farther into the Reserve. 

Some mixed flocks of sparrows near wood duck pond, mostly Song and Field but I had a brief look at a pale-breasted sparrow with a strong facial pattern that I thought might be a Clay-colored but I honestly did not see it long enough to be absolutely sure. Have no idea if they have been seen there although it seemed like perfect habitat. 

I was not able to relocate it after it dove into thick cover.
