V chilly, windy at Darby Lakes this morning but I did find the two Common Loons in lovely breeding Plumage. One was fairly close to shore briefly but then both drifted farther out on the lake on the left as u drive in where the lake view trailhead is. I wasn’t fortunate enough to hear them call.
Not v birdy o/w but I had one Pied-billed Grebe, kingfisher, good numbers of Tree Swallows. Couple E Phoebes squabbling about territories. One White-throated Sparrow. Heard Field Sparrows. At least 2 Great Blues.
FOS cowbirds. Killdeer, grackles and displaying Red-wings. Kestrel in a tree outside the park.
