I figured the wet fields near the bike path might be promising for woodcocks so I ventured out after sunset tonight. In the fields N of the bike path by Wildwood Park, I heard peents as well as the aerial trills. 

Too dark to spot them so I’ll try a bit earlier tomorrow. 

Great to hear them—maybe spring isn’t too far off.
