Two Field Sparrows have been here daily, along with White-crowned Sparrows
(from 1 to 5 at a time) and Red-winged Blackbirds (all males, from 1 to 6
at a time). Mourning Dove numbers have increased from 4 to 20. The Cooper's
Hawk has included our feeding station on its daily rounds. I found Mourning
Dove feathers scattered about late this morning, so I'm guessing the
Cooper's had a big breakfast.
