I hit Armleder looking for Saw whet. Yesterday. Plenty of good looking tangles.
No success…… the Little Miami is really low. I walked part of the bank a bit trying
To scare up stuff. Not much. Where are all the sparrows down here? Lost Bridge today
Was interesting. Very dry. Lots of dead fish. But the Eagles and Vultures - both
Species - were there in force! Easy feeding. RB Mergs in the north pond. And
Ring billed Gulls. When - if….. - I ever see my Hamilton Herring Gull, I will celebrate that
Night! Only shorebirds we’re Killdeer. Mostly on the river. And one pipit still lingering.
Or a new one in. Oxbow - Indiana and Kentucky spots next. I am enjoying the Oxbow
Now that the road is drivable for regular small cars.

Nature notes - insects and butterflies still around. No missing Ash throated down
Here taking advantage.

Good birding all.
