Pretty quiet at Beaver Marsh but there was one Turkey Vulture soaring over the area. (I saw one last week from I-80.) At least one grackle at the feeders by the manufactured home community to the north.

Belted KF plus the usual downies, Song & White-throated Sparrows, titmice & chickadees. One robin but no Waxwings today.

Two pairs of black ducks with some mallards & Canada Geese.

At my feeders in Hudson, I had my FOS Brown-headed Cowbird... Tree Sparrows still here but seems like fewer now. Calling Killdeer.

As for odd feeding habits of Canada Geese, the “resident” flock at my apt complex appears to be vacuuming up any oil sunflower seed left behind by the other birds.
