The bio reserve was full of feeding/flitting warblers and other migrants as well as some residents like White-eyed Vireos early this morning. Unfortunately, I had to leave to go to work but if anyone’s around Granville, you might want to check it out.

I probably saw more birds Than I’ve ever seen there—it was almost like being in Cape May for a small fallout. More birds than I could get on especially w/thick foliage.

I saw mostly the same warblers I’ve been seeing past couple days but in greater numbers. In addition and I had a Great-crested FC & a Brown Thrasher which was pretty cool.

Catbirds were numerous.

Warblers
Black-throated green Including one that was in almost in breeding plumage
Magnolia
Tennessee
American redstart, including a couple orange males
Black and white
Bay-breasted
Com YT
Nashville

Scarlet Tanager female
Red-eyed Vireos
E Peewees
Empid sp

I’m hoping to head out Again this afternoon and hope that they’ll still be some warblers around.
