Hi all,
Yesterday afternoon I went to Eastfork State Park.
http://parks.ohiodnr.gov/eastfork
At the reservoir I had 4 BONAPARTE'S GULLS on the beach. I could see a
large raft of ducks out by the damn but they were too distant for a good
look.
I then went for a hike on the "blue" trail (AKA the mountain bike trail). I
did pick up solid looks a couple of skulking FOX SPARROWS and EASTERN
TOWHEES. Great looks at EASTERN PHOEBES, GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS, HAIRY
WOODPECKERS and other common forest dwellers.
In the pond near the trailhead were 6 or 7 BLUE-WINGED TEAL.
Good Birding,
