Join us at Deer Haven Park on 4183 Liberty Road, Delaware, OH 43015 and
program starts at 7pm with the program, social time after the program





Please join Dr Wendel Patton, Professor Emeritus, Department of Zoology at
Ohio Wesleyan University, for his presentation Meet the Neighbors - Lives in
Our Seasonal Woodland Pools.

Dr Patton is a retired professor from Ohio Wesleyan University. He obtained
his PhD from the University of Queensland, Australia and has studied
crustaceans that live symbiotically with corals and other invertebrates.

In retirement, he has discovered the vernal pool ecosystem at Stratford
Ecological Center.



His recent (2014) publication from this research was "On the Natural History
and Functional Morphology of the Clam Shrimp, Lynceus brachyurus Muller
(Branchiopoda: Laevicaudata)" published in the Journal of Crustacean Biology
(v34(6):677-703).
