I took a trip north for a change of scenery. It was fun to bird Beaver Marsh again—one of my favorite places when I lived in Hudson. That said, it was awfully quiet but I did pick up my FOS Tree Sparrows, one of my favorite winter birds, but only a couple. Also saw a pair of Black Ducks on a small spot of open water. Heard Cedar Waxwings and a kingfisher. Adult Bald Eagle nice. Only other raptors were perched Red-taileds along the interstate.

Otherwise, it was just a few juncos, Song Sparrows, a couple good-sized flocks of robins, a few Downy WPs and Red-bellieds, crows, WB nuthatches, BC Chickadees & titmice. Not even that many Blue Jays. Gorgeous day but not a lot of birds.
