I got a bit stir crazy after watching my feeders most of the day in the snow. I had at least a dozen Cardinals, a few juncos, a couple White-throated and Song Sparrows as well as a Downy coming to the suet. Late in the afternoon, a large flock of starlings and Robins arrived and were enjoying the small crabapples on my neighbor’s tree & drinking from their gutters much to the fascination of my indoor only cat. Several crows calling.

At Denison, it was quiet but picturesque in the snow. Trails were tricky w/ice under about 4” of light snow. Heard and then spotted a Hermit Thrush. O/w, just cardinals, robins & WT Sparrows. Red-bellied WP. As I was leaving, a flock of Cedar Waxwings flew over.
