The Common Gallinule found a couple days ago by another birder
is still there - Lodge Pond. The far edge from the viewing platform
and it drifts south. Nov. bird! I am striking out with sw ohio year birds.
Nothing flying! Etc. I am at 235. Number 235 was a Fox Sparrow from
last January that I forgot to mark off my excel chart.....!
Lodge Pond is teeming with birds at present. 16 Snipe I had. Wow!
I walked a trail later here - still need Clay colored sparrow and Marsh wren! Not today.
Nature notes - it has been quiet lately bird wise, but nice to see butterflies
and dragonflies still flying! Orange Sulphurs, Autumn Meadowhawks.
Still some color down here. The yellows of Hickory are gorgeous.
Oaks have just dropped their leaves I believe with this strange fall..
