Between chasing rare birds and the tearing down of the old red barn which has limited parking, I haven’t had a chance in several days for a walk at Denison Bio Reserve. I waited until late morning when it was a little warmer & there wasn’t a lot of bird activity. I did find a couple Tree Sparrows along with the usual White-throated‘s. I heard and then saw one male towhee.
Aside from some bluebirds, Robins, the usual titmice, chickadees, WB Nuthatches, Cardinals & Carolina Wrens, there wasn’t much else. I had a Red-tailed hawk and some TVs.
