Today I heard the distinctive call of the Trumpeter Swan as I walked on Beachside Drive along Chippewa Lake. I looked up to see a pair flying overhead and calling as they made their way to the lake. Didn’t have my binoculars (can you believe it) so I’m assuming they landed out in the lake.
