Yesterday I went looking for Henslow's sparrows, a new life bird for me. I
found several at the Bath Nature Preserve in a fairly specific location. If
anyone is interested in finding them, this is how I did it:

Once arriving at the North entrance off Ira road I drove south on Hickory
Farm Lane and parked at the Univ. of Akron Field Station. There is a map
posted near the lot which shows trails, ponds and oil rigs. I went NE on a
grass path to reach trail 7(gravel) and went east on that until I reached
trail 8 (gravel). I took trail 8 south toward oil rig F. Within 100 yards
of turning south on trail 8 I started hearing Henslow's sparrows. Although
described as secretive, they were easy to see atop small bushes while
singing. I saw and heard several along trail 8 until a little past oil rig
F. I arrived at 11:45 am when it was about 80 degrees. By 12:45 when it was
closer to 85 degrees and sunny, they were much less active. I posted a
few photos on ebird.
