I had a spare few hours this afternoon. Figured I had better try for Cecilia
before it gets really cold! I think Molly said she installed a heater, so hopefully
Cec will make it. For those looking to see her again, she seems to be hanging
out at the creek house. They have feeders too. I did not realize that and was
impatiently waiting at the usual house..... freezing to death! Thankfully
a fellow birder came along and told me the creek.

January bird! I enjoy monthly listing. I have 96 birds for January according to
ebird. For Ohio. NJ is over 200 for Jan.

Since I was thoroughly chilled to the bone, I decided on Lost Bridge next.
I can bird from my car. Which is what I did! No Common Loon. I need that
still for the county. Hamilton doesn't have the large reservoirs like the other
7 counties in my SW Ohio area. No wonder I need deep water species still
for my home county.

A Pintail was there. and hundreds of crows. place was flooded. River was
high also. At least the vegetation has been bull dozed. Now we can see
again. It was getting tall along the road.

Good birding all.
