Someone had asked for notes regarding recent common nighthawk  observations.
Last night I heard them and saw them doing their normal  thing at dusk over
both Easton and the shops around the Fifth and Grandview  Aves. areas in
Columbus.  I saw two, but heard others, at Easton.  I  heard at least two at
Grandview.
