Hi All,
Findlay Reservoir:
On 10/16, a brief scan through the Ring-billed and Herring Gulls from the lookout off Twp. Rd. 207 yielded 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls. On 10/17, while birding from the dike around the smaller part of the reservoir, a lone Franklin's Gull, 1 Greater and 1 Lesser Scaup, and a Black-bellied Plover were the highlights among about 1500 Ring-billed and Herring Gulls. The franklin's and plover were likely continuing birds.
At a site in south-central Hancock Co., highlights included my FOS Fox Sparrow and 2-3 Purple Finches.
Good Birding!
