As in rain is needed soon! Although I will be away. Hopefully I can catch up
on shorebirds when I get back. Nothing new today. Less diversity today also.
That field is almost dried up. No Herons in that field either. Everything was back
in the swamp. Which is also drying up.
I had a Prothonotary. And Phoebes feeding in the swamp. It was a fairly birdy
afternoon considering the weather.
Hopefully passerine migration heats up when I return. I really liked Armleder
last fall. Hopefully its good this fall!
I am back to doubting my getting 250 for my big year. Nothing new today....
Butterfly notes - I have been seeing a lot of Monarchs on their way south.
Always a treat!
Good birding all.
