Neat area I hit today. I didn’t have much time…. dentist appointment soon.
I basically just road birded. Near my car. When I started getting cold - that
Wind is something! - I would warm up in the car. Alas, no RB Nuthatch.
Herring gull is my nemesis bird for Hamilton. RB Nuthatch is it for Clermont.
That place looks perfect. Loads of pines. Stuff was scattered around. I did
Have a small flock at a stream crossing as I left the campground. I pished in
Various common birds. Including 2 White breasted nuthatches! Oh well.
My first 4 Oct birds for Clermont for life are Lincoln’s sparrow, Dunlin,
R B nuthatch, and orange crowned warbler. This is for my life needs list. I am
A long way from county listing out here! Number 5 is Sabine’s gull!?
Blackbirds are in their flocks. I have been scanning for yellow headed.
If this windy again Wed. more car birding.
Nature notes - no butterflies today. I have been seeing some when I head at.
Getting raw out there.
Good birding all.
