Wow! Two county birds and a state bird. Fun! Thursday is a work day,
So I skipped reading the alerts and email…. Thankfully it didn’t matter…..
I read the black tern alert after dinner. I only chased because a fellow
Birder had it 15 minutes before I read the post! Usually these terns disappear
Quick, but this one has been around all afternoon. And much to my
Surprise a BB Whistling Duck was there! Wow again! I had not a clue one
Was present. Am told it’s been there for a couple days. So maybe it
Will stick for birders. It’s the Visitors center pond. Although check everywhere
If not there.

Good birding all.
