No success! For the RN Grebe. 2 Horned and say 30 Pied billed around.
I had a late afternoon search. Thought a good shot, there were boats on the
Lake, but not many. The Pied billeds were everywhere I scanned. Most
Numerous at the dam. They like to congregate against that rock structure.
Horneds were specks at a far edge. Barred Owl called once during the day.
I always enjoy that! If the RN Grebes are reported Monday morning, I might
Try again Tues morning. Morning is the time frame here.
Nature notes - a beautiful day to be out! Temps, the fall colors!
The Licking Scissor tailed was seen again today.
