As of 11:35am today, 7 December, the female KING EIDER is still showing well at Chilo Lock #34 Park along the Ohio River in Clermont County.  She hugs the shoreline near the museum and appears quite comfortable, diving, feeding, and preening all in front of the eager, excited, and respectful birders who view her from behind the black metal fence.

For out of towners, Chilo Lock 34 Park is 26 miles southeast of I-275 on US 52. After  OH SR 222 in Chilo, drive less than a mile and look for a sign on your right for Crooked Run Nature Preserve.
