> Hayes Road, Middlefield Twp, Geauga County maintained its reputation yesterday (Jan. 19th) as a good bet for rough-legged hawks. Hayes Road north of Rt. 87 featured a light phase juvenile. Hayes Rd. south of Rt. 87 produced another light phase juvenile briefly interacting in flight with an adult light phase female. Perched in a tree in the NE corner of Swine Creek Reservation, an adult light phase male gave a good long look in the scope.
