I found Brian Tinker's Red-Throated Loon at Summit County's Turkeyfoot Lake about an hour or so after he discovered and reported it. Kudos to his good spotting skills and his willingness to share!

I viewed from the parking lot of a tiny restaurant in Portage Lakes called Howie's on the Lake. I was facing east and the bird was to my left (north) about 3/4 of the way to the far shore.

Weather was poor--hard sleet/snow with poor visibility. Camera would not focus through snow except in video mode. Video uploaded to YouTube and embedded in my eBird checklist. https://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S41266899
