While Denise is driving on Interstate 90, heading for Headlands, I have the opportunity
to forward this interesting Conneaut related e-mail to the "Listserve". Bob Lane

Mr. Lane,
My husband and I were birding in Conneaut last night and at the beginning of the breakwall near the shore on the inner lagoon, we saw one Lapland Longspur, a first for me, feeding along the shore line. We were also thrilled to see the Phalaropes . I read your post and thought I would mention this. We have been birding for quite some time but have never been connected to any birding group and would like more information about birding spots in the area. We live in Madison and have been to Magee Marsh for the last two years. We are going to Florida for 2 weeks this winter to bird and visit relatives, and of course go see the Whooping Cranes.
Any birding information you could give us would be helpful.
Sincerly,
Tom and Ruth Remhof
Madison, Ohio
