I went out for a couple of hours this morning to the spillway at Caesar's
Creek to see what was around. I managed to find about 15 American Pipits
milling about in the spillway, on the west side (away from the lake).
Also seen in that area:
Barn, Tree, and Northern Rough-winged Swallows
Louisiana Waterthrushes
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers everywhere
Gray Catbird
Northern Mockingbird
Nothing really spectacular, but the pipits were a nice suprise.
