This morning at Highbanks Metro Park in Columbus, I was able to observe first of season migrants including a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Yellow-rumped Warblers (30) and Golden-crowned Kinglets (18). It was also a good morning for thrushes with large flocks of Robins, Eastern Bluebirds, Swainson Thrush (2) and Hermit Thrush (12). There was also a large number of Field Sparrows, Northern Flickers and Blue Jays. The meadows and forest edges along the pet trail provided the best birding.

Other notables included:

Chimney Swift (8)
Eastern Phoebe (3)
Nashville Warbler (1)
Gray Catbird (3)
Swamp Sparrow (2)
White-throated Sparrow (14)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (2)
