An adult female Rufous Hummingbird has been coming to a feeder recently in Holmes County. The bird was banded on Saturday morning, after which it showed up at my feeders, 200 yards away. If the bird stays around, any birders are welcome to come and try for the bird. It was cooperative today (Sunday), at least during the short time we were at home. Since we live back a complicated half-mile lane, please call ahead and I'll make sure you can find the place okay. Our basic location is 3 miles east of Millersburg on Rts 39/62, at 6692 County Road 624. GPS will only get you in the vicinity, not to the house
