This morning at the reserve was another episode of a short wave of warblers and then not much of anything afterwards. But I’m not complaining as I had 2 Kentucky warblers, one chasing the other, a Blackburnian and an American Redstart as well as Red-eyed and WE Vireos. A couple empids & an E Kingbird.

Later in the morning I found a single YB Cuckoo silently feeding in a walnut tree. A few purple martins drifted over. Otherwise it was very quiet except for a couple Red-headed WPs plus Downy and Pileated. Lots of Catbirds & some Towhees. RT Hummingbird.
